About Demi Lang The beach, seaside, buildings and graphics are a constant source of inspiration as is the sky at various times of day. The soft peaches of early morning and starry night skies......everyday brings new inspiration. I use acrylics because they are fast drying, versatile and bright. I also use watercolours in my drawings. When I start a painting I become absorbed and only put down my brush when other commitments are pressing. It really is a passion to choose and mix colours and to then brush them onto the blank canvas. I get a real buzz when I know a painting is starting to work. Once I have reached a stage where I feel I can't add any more to a painting, I stop and leave it so as not to 'over work it'. I will then put it somewhere in my house where I can look at it regularly. I then make any further adjustments if I feel they are needed. When I'm completely happy I sign the finished painting then it is mounted, framed or varnished. I use Artists quality paints and materials for all my paintings and everything is finished to a high standard. My ideas and inspiration are endless so watch this space for future creations.
